- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon fennel seeds
- 2½ cups water
Instructions
- Rinse all seeds under cold water to remove dust or residue.
- Add the pumpkin, cumin, and fennel seeds to a saucepan with the water.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 8–10 minutes.
- Strain the liquid into a mug.
- Drink warm, preferably in the morning or 30 minutes before meals.
Notes
Use whole seeds for best effect. Let steep longer for stronger infusion. Avoid sugar; lemon or cinnamon can enhance flavor. Drink on an empty stomach for optimal benefits. Can be brewed in larger batches and stored up to 2 days in the fridge.
