Description
A calming and flavorful herbal tea rooted in Costa Rican tradition, perfect for digestion, detox, and nighttime fat burning.
Ingredients

- 1 tsp dried lemon verbena (or fresh if available)
- 1 tsp dried chamomile
- 1 star anise pod
- A few fresh mint leaves
- ½ cinnamon stick
- Optional: a pinch of baking soda
- 2½ cups water
- Optional: raw honey or a touch of brown sugar
Instructions
- Bring water to a boil in a small pot.
- Add all herbs and baking soda if using.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Turn off the heat and let steep for 5 more minutes.
- Strain and serve hot or chill for a cold version.
- Optional: Replace half the water with coconut milk for a creamy twist.
Notes
Drink before bed or 30 minutes before meals for best digestion and appetite control. Use whole herbs when possible for optimal flavor and benefits.
