- 2 cups cooked shredded chicken (rotisserie works great)
- 1 box stuffing mix (chicken flavor preferred)
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup sour cream or mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup chicken broth or water
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix together the shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream or mayo, and chicken broth.
- Spread the mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Prepare stuffing according to package directions, or mix dry with melted butter and hot broth if short on time.
- Layer the stuffing evenly over the chicken mixture.
- Bake uncovered for 30–35 minutes until hot, bubbly, and golden on top.
Notes
Optional add-ins: shredded cheese, sautéed onions and celery, frozen peas or corn. For extra flavor, drizzle melted butter over the stuffing before baking. Freezes well and reheats beautifully.
