Description

Fast, bold, and full of buttery garlic flavor — Garlic Butter Steak Lightning Noodles are the ultimate weeknight dinner. Quick to make and impossible to stop eating.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz cooked noodles (lo mein, ramen, or spaghetti)
  • 8 oz steak, thinly sliced (flank, sirloin, or ribeye)
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar or honey
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Optional: chili flakes, sesame oil, sliced green onions

Instructions

  1. Cook noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat a skillet or wok over medium-high heat with a splash of oil.
  3. Add steak in a single layer. Sear for 1–2 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
  4. Reduce heat to medium. Add butter and garlic. Stir for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Stir in soy sauce, brown sugar, and optional chili flakes.
  6. Return steak to the pan. Add noodles and toss to coat in sauce.
  7. Adjust seasoning with salt, pepper, or more soy sauce. Serve hot with green onions or sesame seeds.

Notes

Slice steak thin and sear hot for best texture. Add quick-cooking veggies like snap peas or bell peppers for extra crunch. Swap steak with shrimp, chicken, or tofu for variety.
