Ingredients

- 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
- ½ teaspoon Ceylon cinnamon
- 1 green tea bag or 1 teaspoon loose-leaf green tea
- Juice of ½ lemon
- Optional: pinch of cayenne pepper
- Optional: 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
- Optional: ½ teaspoon raw honey
Instructions
- Bring 1.5 cups of filtered water to a boil in a small saucepan.
- Add grated ginger and cinnamon, simmer for 4–5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and steep green tea for 2–3 minutes.
- Strain into a mug using a fine mesh strainer.
- Add lemon juice just before drinking.
- Optional: Stir in cayenne, apple cider vinegar, or honey as desired.
Notes
Drink warm in the morning or 30 minutes before your largest meal to maximize GLP-1 activation. Store any leftovers in the fridge for up to 48 hours and reheat gently on the stove.
